Yes
My son loves German football (and I am partial too), so thought about a boys weekend to watch Munich. Registered with the BM website but everytime I click on English language the site seems to become more basic and can't seem to look at ordering tickets - so how can i order tickets?

Have you tried any of sites like Ticketmaster? Or googled Bayern Munich tickets?

Your first port of call should be Google not a photography forum.

Yes, I have heard of that site called 'google' and had actually been onto the site you posted above. However, the tickets are around £140, and I was of the understanding (maybe misguided) that German football was reasonably priced (i.e. its probably not much more to fly to Germany and watch a game than it is to get to the Emirates!). Is the idea of cheap german football a myth?

Wow.
Some pi55y folk around.
Perhaps not responding and moving on might be an option.

@cambsno I hope you find reasonably priced tickets....it's a nice plan :-)

I don't know if he comes on here much anymore but Jamesb84 goes to matches in Germany fairly regularly and it's cheaper for him to go there than West Ham, might be worth sending him a PM?

Thanks for that, unfortunately he appears to be suspended/banned.

A off topic discussion in a general discussion forum, who knew eh??

Apparently Borussia Dortmund are very cheap to go see play so it might not be all German clubs. BM are a very popular club after all.

Thanks. A quick research suggests that other clubs are indeed more affordable. Maybe it will have to be someone other than Munich.

A clever ploy to prevent British fans attending? Gotta admire German ingenuity. :)

Being relatively cheap and Bayern being a big club I'm pretty sure they will be sold out all season for home matches which will probably be the same with all the big clubs. Bayern collaborate with Viagogo and there are a lot on Seatwave but expect to pay well over face value depending on the game. You could get lucky though. You could always try for easier to come by tickets for 1860 Munich who play in the Allianz Arena although the crowd and atmosphere won't be Bayern sized. A lot of people like the 'Kult clubs' like St Pauli (Hamburg) etc.

Here is the official Borussia Dortmund site, and it lists tickeis for the upcoming game against Wolfsburger from around 14 Euros!!!

http://www.bvb.de/eng/News

Click on the "tickets" tab, then choose the match, click on "tickets kaufen", click on an area of the stadium, for instance 36 blue, then click on "preislite", and you will see a whole range of prices from Euros 13.50 (about £9 would you believe?).

Well, hoping to catch the Koln v borussia moenchengladbach game in sept. Tickets not yet available but bagged flights at the bargain price of £30 all in for both of us, so worst case is we see a lower league game or just spend time in Cologne. Would have probably cost the same to go to London!!!

Look or ask on the forums at www.toytowngermany.com. It's one of the main expat forums where UK people go to get help on all sorts of problems and services and tickets etc. that they need living in Germany.
I live in Munich but I can't help, as I know nothing about sport.
