Anybody use a Wacom Cintiq?

I've been tempted to start working with a decent tablet for a while now and wondered if anyone has used a Cintiq and if so, would you recommend it over an Intuos. Looks fabulous being able to work directly on screen but an expensive device to buy blind without any recommendations from exisitng users. I just don't want to buy an Intuos and regret not going the extra mile (well... ten miles I suppose :)) for the Cintiq.

Well, based on the price difference of the two, I would say you wont have much to lose with going for the intuos first and then investing in a cintiq.
Was thinking of getting one myself, but then realised that I'm not a graphics designer:cuckoo: and went for the intuos!
Just my $0.02
 
I've used one enough to know that it will suit me, just never used a Cintiq and wondered if it's a quantum leap better or if it doesn't work as well as it looks like it should. I guess I need to find someone locally who has one... thanks for looking anyway :) ....... Flashy
