Anybody seen these 1.6v AA's, any good for flashguns?

I've used the ones from Maplin.

They work very well.

Edit, just checked the link, and almost half the price, only £7.49 for 4 at Maplin.

If I read that right, it says "Ni-Zn are a very bad choice for flash guns".

just the opposite they work very well in flashguns speeding up recycle times enough to notice
iv'e been using them for a while now in a couple of canon flash guns and they have been fine the natural discharge rate ( shelf life ) isn't as good as hybrid batteries but better than ni mh

I was concerned by the fact that you can only charge them "30 - 50 times". Is that true?

If so, I'd need a set every 6 weeks or so ;)

No, the comments in that link seem more informative than the review itself. I've had one set somewhere between 1 and 2 years and charge them as often as my other batteries. Even in high drain items they still seem as good as when they were new.
