Can anybody recommend some good youtube videos on the use of speedlights.
I have watched a few and they keep going round in circles. I need to understand and make a start in using mine..

Thanks..

Have you tried any of the well respected books such as the Speedliters Handbook?

That book is out of print at the moment and second hand copies of the original and the revised edition seem to be changing hands for rather strong money at the moment. Luckily, I managed to find a copy in good condition for £10 but still intend to buy the new version once it's printed (on my Xmas list if it's published on time!). I've found the original version is a very comprehensive book and I've learnt quite a bit so far and I'm not even past the first couple of chapters yet!

I've got a copy and another one "Hot Shoe Diaries" both good books, but decided I'm just not a flasher.

As said above if you can get a copy of the speedliters handbook it will help an awful lot. The way he explains things is really simple without being condescending and it made everything click in my brain.

Scott Kelby has recently released a flash book too, haven’t had chance to read through it yet but all the other things I’ve seen/read by him have been excellent.
