Does anyone live in Spain, and is willing to buy some copies of a magazine for me? I have a picture in the December issue of the Viajes National Geographic magazine about Rome, and while I have an electronic version I would like some paper versions, and I've been unable to get in touch with a person I know in Barcelona. :(

I fear I may have left it too late to get some paper versions, but the magazine didn't inform me when the magazine hit the news stands. :mad:
 
I will endeavour to source it for you on the 26th - the man in my "estanco" is a good friend of mine and an excellent fotographer ;) Can you post a link to the magazine and I'll try him on Facebook?
 
Not sure if Teneriffe will have it or if it's just mainland Spain.

My wifes Dad lives there for half the year so I could ask him if you draw a blank elsewhere.

I had a look in Carrefour but they only had the Jan issue. Looking at their website I only see a subscription option, and nothing about buying individual issues.
 
Thanks for all the replies. :) And thanks for Ricardoforce for having a look in a shop in Spain. I fear I have left it too late though. The Rome edition was on their website last week, but when I looked the other day, the January edition :( (about China btw) was on there.

The magazine were supposed to let me know when it was out. :mad:

There must surely be somewhere to buy back copies, but I haven't found it yet. The search continues.
 
@redhed17 just heard back from my Newsagent man and he thinks he does - they're shut now - and I'm not going anywhere tomorrow ;) So, I'll pop up there on Thursday for you and confirm then OK?

Hello Sarah, that would be great if you could. I would like four copies if he has them, but obviously one would be good if he has any left. I won't be back online till Friday, as I'm visiting my (unconnected:rolleyes:) Mum for Christmas.
 
OK so went to see him - he's pretty sure that issue 165 has not yet hit the stands. He should receive just one copy - but can order more if you want them. Let me know ;)
 
Hello Sarah, thanks for looking into it for me. I think the December issue (#165 with the pic in) has come and gone. :( I think it came out about mid November.

They have the January issue, #166, on their website, so I'm assuming that is the current version.

If your friend can get copies of the magazine, #165, I would like 4 copies please. :)
 
UPDATE 4 Copies are now ordered :D Will let you know when I have them, and you can PM me your details :)

Ahhh, but it's so much easier to DO some one a favour than ask for one.

Picked up the magazines yesterday and yes it's the Rome one - have seen your photo :thumbs: Will look into getting them posted tomorrow :)
