Yes
Looking for a a bag to take all my regularly used kit and this seems to fit the bill but wondered if anyone on here had one and could confirm how much it can take,I have the following
1Ds
60D (Gripped)
Tamron 70-200 f2.8
70-300IS
Tamron 17-50 VC f2.8
24-85
50mm f 1.8
135mm f2.8
Sigma 500 DG Flash

Which model - Flipside, Stealth Reporter, Magnum, ....

That won't all be going in the Flipside 400AW

Not sure I would want to lug that lot about either

I get a gripped 5d2 with 24-70 on in the centre section with a 17-40 below. On one side is my 70-200 f2.8, on the other is my 580 flash. In the little sections on either side I get a 1.4x converter and a remote release. The small pocket in the front (the back as you wear it) holds filters, batteries etc and thats about it. No way will it take all your gear....

Thanks for the advice guys and yes it was the flipside i was talking about, the idea was not to carry everything around all to the time but if at all possible have a bag that would take all the kit and then just take out and leave at home what I didn't want on a particular day.
Looks like i need a Plan B

I think I've got that bag 400aw flipside... gets all but the smaller m42 lenses in it with space to spare... although the 10kg+ weight is a bit tiring :D

Its pretty well built, but I'm finding some of the threading is fraying... probably too much weight for the bag.

Insides are velcro moveable which is handy for either separating lenses or holding lenses in more securely (ie the 300mm tair).

Overall I'd recommend the bag - its swivels around your waist to allow easier access and the more expensive camera gear is zipped up on your back rather than accessed on the outside. No light fingered people getting in easily...

i had the 400aw flipside but recently sold it as it wasnt big enough- i doubt you'd get all the required stuff in it...

maybe look into the vanguard skybourne series- much better quality bags and sized aswell

Matt83 who just posted in the Thailand for 6 months thread has one.

This is what fits in my Lowepro Flipside 400AW

Nikon D300 + MB-D10 grip
Nikon 17-55 2.8
Nikon 70-200 2.8 vr
Nikon 105 2.8 vr micro
Nikon 1.7 TC
Nikon SB900 speedlight
6x EN-EL3e battery's
2x sets of AA Sanyo eneloop's
5x 8GB Sandisk Extream CF cards
Olympus TG-1
Better Beamer
Set of soft grads, three stop solid grad and a polarizer
Hyperdrive Colourspace UDMA 2 750GB
Lens cloths and pens
Lenscoat rain sleeve

Total weight is 8.5 KG. Many would find this heavy but being a big bloke I can carry this all day with no problems.
You could easily add 1-2 small primes and more filters with a bit of re-organizing.

Hope this helps :)

I've got the following in mine - weighs a tonne mind you!!

Main compartment

- Canon 5D MKII
- Canon 7D
- Tokina 12-24 f/4
- Canon 24-105L f/4 (generally attached to 5D)
- Sigma 50mm f/1.4
- Canon 70-200L f/4
- Canon 100-400L
- Kenko Extension Tubes (3 of)
- Kenko 1.4x extender
- 10 stopper ND filter
- 3x CF cards

Zipped front compartment

- Canon EX430 flash
- battery chargers
- 4x filters
- intervalometer
- remote trigger
- a few other bits and bobs!!

I basically keep all my gear in it whilst its at home and also use it as carry on luggage when travelling abroad and taking my camera.

Cracking bag and mine still looks brand new after 2 years of average use. No fraying of stitching, zips work spot on. All round good piece of kit.

I think it'll all fit! Just looking at my bag now but unsure if I would be happy carrying all of that at once!
