No
Because I've just bought one along with all the gubbins that makes up the E system, telephotos macros wide angle flash and grip as well as a box of bits.

I'm told it cost £4,000 when new  is that right

anybody used one before

Olympus 5mp E20 digital SLR with 9-36mm zoom lens.
Olympus B-HLD 10 PowerGrip/Batt Pack & Charger.
Olympus FL40 dedicated bounce / zoom flash.
Olympus TCON 300 Tele lens
Olympus MCON 35 Macro Lens
Olympus TCON 14B W/Angle Lens
Olympus TCON SA1 Lens Support arm
Olympus TCON SA2 Lens Support arm
Olympus RM-CB1 Remote Shutter Release.

Yep, I had one back in the day.

Image quality is good (or was, when it was released), but it's a very slow camera, so you really have to be patient!

Cheers,
James

Still have one, in the back of a cupboard somewhere. Limited ISO range, but the F2 lens made up for it. Wouldn't recommend going over about 160 though as you can tend to get artifacts. Check it out for yourself though. One of the first cameras to have two cards for storage.

Response time from shutter depression to shutter firing was a bit slow, but you got the hang of it after a while.

Enjoy

any idea what the package above would be worth

At current ebay prices, if you split it £120 for the camera and small change for the accessories.

As a package, £180 would be top whack I'd say.

That said, if that flash is compatible with Oly E Series, then that's probably £60-70 on it's own with a bit of luck.

Cheers,
James

I think your £180 estimate for the lot may be a tad out, a B-HLD 10 PowerGrip has just sold for £132 on ebay

seen what you bought it for on av and it seems like afair price to me, things are always cheaper in bundles..sum of its parts an all that.

I used to have one of those olympus wide angle lenses for my olympus camedia 3.2mp and the vignetting was terrible on wide and telephoto attachments, the wide angle was like having a wok on the end of my camera..it was massive, I still have the telephoto lens and adapter ring.

I loved that olympus c-200zoom
