Any way to restore an erased SD card?

My parents have just come back from holiday ands as being the illiterate computer idiot that he is he somehow deleted all the photos.

I remember reading on here some time ago about some software that can restore a deleted SD card. Anyone have any ideas?

SanDisk's RescuePro (which came free with some of their cards) can generally find any files on a card as long as they haven't been overwritten. It'll even find them if the card's been formatted. Some kind soul may have a spare disk or code for it - I'm afraid I don't have any left.
