Hi all,

Just wondering if any of you peeps had any tips on making a little cash on the side?

:lol::lol: Sorry John but if you find one or anybody makes a good suggestion, I am all ears. Other than that it is a case of Blood Sweat and Tears I reckon :D ;) If you are still in one piece you could sell your sperm I suppose :shrug:
 
Where I now work a lot of the people seem to have jobs on the side. It's all a car related environment, but one bloke does MOT's and car servicing on the side, he just rents the garage space off a couple of mates as and when he needs it. Others build engines etc. Anything related to hobbies or interests may be an idea, how about something photography related.
 
Lol, thanks guys, wish I were a mechanic! As to being an escort, I'd either get no work or the refunds/sales description acts would bankrupt me :lol:

A porno and a pot, hehe easy work but I think a head of hair or a good job might be a requirement ;)

I guess photo related makes the most sense, funny really I do have good people skills, but only once I get going, before that I tend to be shy and not exactly self confident!

Motivation is my other weak point, you should see my diy, not a single job done over 95%!

Oh, and a bad memory, would seriously clash with my current job though, I work day, nights and am required almost 24/7, I even gave up a photography club I was at as I couldn't guarantee two hours a week... Silly job...

Possible but I doubt it, they mostly live miles away and have very little to do with my side of things.

I think I'll give the old web selling a go, who knows, thankfully at the moment I don't need the cash, just thinking to make things a little easier.

Have you considered network marketing? This has gained ground in the last couple decades in this country and is now hugely successful. Many tens of thousands are earning an extra few hundred a month, and several thousand now earn sufficient from this source to allow them to walk away from the day job/business should they wish.

Study the options, look for established businesses rather than 'exciting new'. And look for true residual income generators as opposed to those where you have to repeat sell products (that no one wants).

Do your own research. It works for me ;)

It depends upon what you mean by a 'pyramid scheme'. But, no! Pyramid schemes are illegal and are characterised by not having a real product or service to sell. Network marketing (aka multi-level marketing) is employed by many leading NYSE & FTSE firms alongside, or in some cases replacing, more conventional sales channels.

Correct. Pyramid schemes rely on members recruiting more members, with the financial contributions of each level in the hierarchy supporting the ones above. This is only sustainable until it reaches the point where there aren't enough new "investors" to keep the scheme afloat, and it implodes. The people who got in on the ground floor have usually walked away with their profits by this stage, and everyone else loses their "investments".
 
My something in bulk, sell it on for more than you paid for it on ebay, amazon etc.. it couldn't be easier in theory. Finding something to sell might prove more difficult. Much more flexable than a part time job and probably a lot more profitable.

I noticed you are in IT. Another option might be using a site like peopleperhour? There are a few others but that site is the best known. Its where you can offer your skulls to people who need the those skulls and who are will to pay you as a freelancer.

Easiest way to make a small fortune is (allegedly!) to start with a large one and go into Motorsport...
