Any tips on exposing E6 for cross processing?

I haven't done it with Velvia 100F but you could probably find plenty of examples on Flickr.

My only experience was with Provia 100F and it gave very blue/green colour shifts. I think the colour shifts depend to some degree on how you expose it, as well as the film used. In my case I was advised (can't remember by who, but I followed the advice) to expose it at ISO200, ie underexpose by one stop, but then processed as normal in C41.

That refers to the old, made in EU Precisa - which Lomographers loved for it's cross-processed blue tint.

You are correct, Precisa is now a Fuji E6 emulsion (rumoured to be a poorer brother to Provia) which doesn't actually produce a blue cross-processed tint.
 
I've never cross processed E6 but I do remember reading somewhere the general rule was to overexpose and pull process when cross processing E6 (because of the high contrast nature) and underexpose and push process when cross processing C-41 (I have done that with some old Gold 800 as a bit of fun and 1 stop underexposure with a push seemed to work well)
 
Hmm, under or over, still none the wiser! :lol:

Since I am developing myself I guess it won't matter much since I do not plan on being particularly fussy with temperatures.
