Any suggestions: Annual billing system?

I need to set up a system so that we can invoice customers annually.

We can create the invoices in TAS, it is the system to remind us to create the invoice.

We can't use outlook to do this as we can't set up email reminders, I'm thinking of using Google Calendar and create 2 items for each customer - end of current contract and create invoice date and then set up email reminders so we get emailed when we need to take action.

Can anyone think of a simpler system to set up? Something which will email us to take action (people will forget to go into the software to check).

The online invoice system called Ronin has recurring billing as an option. I've used it for one off invoices and it is pretty good as it emails the client automatically and lets you know when they've opened the invoice. It also gives the client an online area where they can check their invoices and payments.

I've just been checking out Ronin, looks rather good. Just emailed them as there are 2 features I need that aren't in there.
