Any Snow in Keswick?

Following on from another thread, is there anyone who lives in/near or has been in Keswick very recently and knows if there is much snow around? Tempted to go get some snowy landscapes tomorrow (and try and blow this cold out of me). Not worth the drive it is has all thawed though I guess

Also interested in anywhere around derwent water and/or buttermere.

not been there of late but i can say that i was out and about today and there was looking like a fair bit of that white stuff.. and more coming tonight.. others may tell me i am wrong oh an i have to say check your route if you do come head over there if you are gonna use the A66 as it has been closed alot

Erm, I would say yes if we are anything to go by, mate is going skiing on Raise tomorrow, melting here finally but still hard to walk on the pavements !

I m across the bay Nr Blackpool ,and the hills from Barrow to Heysham are full of snow,so very much think the same stuff will cloak the Lake District

Many thanks all If it snows over night I might not bother, but have been trying to leave it long enough for the roads to be clear but the hills still covered in snow. Might head to Kendal first and work my way up then come home down the M6, see how I go

oh the hills are covered... i can say that..but the ice is sooo bad at the moment what ever you do just take care

Be careful on the motorways even if they look clear, I went to carlisle last wednesday, on the way back I saw 3 cars about 5 miles apart, one in the barrier and two up the grass bank.
