They only bought MG. Ford owned the rights to the Rover name having already bought it off BMW to prevent confusion with the Land Rover name. Bo idea if Ford still own the Rover name or whether it was part of the JLR sale to Tata.
 
I was thinking Lexus IS-F but not sure if it would be within 20k.

Can I suggest a banger of old BMW 645CI? That's a V8 and a hell of a car for silly money if you find one well cared for. I was almost tempted before getting a diesel EOS.

Cracking car, provided everything works. Lots of toys, awful lot of car for the money. Go the full hog and get the convertible :D
