I have a D50 with the original strap, and I am finding that the strap is rubbing my neck a bit, its just anoying.

I know i a wimp lol. Does any body know of a good replacement, perhaps a padded one :)

Optech vote here too, especially since you can get one with no text on for a more stealth look.
 
Loved mine so much I bought the tripod strap too. Both from ebay so saved about 11 quid compared to buying from the UK. :thumbs:
 
I saw my mate's one at the weekend - very nice, and comfortable looking. I bought a fake Nikon one off eBay and it was the worst load of crap I've ever seen. Horrible sharp nylon.

So... in view of this thread, I ordered one from WS this morning. It's got to be worth the money, having a decent strap, plus it's got the quick-release clips on it.

thats a nice looking strap there hacker, but I want to be confident taking my nikon outside, if i had that on it, I would be too ashamed to take it out of the box.

The only good canon is one that goes BANG
(thought Id join the fun :P )
 
Funnily enough, my Nikon has a Canon strap on it. Someone at the weekend remarked that my camera must feel awfully confused.

couldnt decide what colour to go for, and black goes with everything lol
 
Another vote for Optech here - I have them on both my cameras. Not quite sure how, but it does make the camera feel lighter too :thinking:
 
I'm sure they could make a custom strap like hackers one but in black with yellow Canon text - I'm sure there would be a market for that :lol:

Another vote here for the Optech, just can't beat them, definitely makes the camera & lenses feel lighter :thumbs:

You could of course join the growing thong (:D) of members (ME so far ... ;)) and demand Matty to buy in another supply of of TP Optech Straps ... :shrug: ... as discussed at some length HERE ... :naughty:





That way I just might eventually get my promised GREEN one ... :suspect:

Just want to come back on this thread and say

WOW massive difference, went out for my first decent walk with the camera on the new strap, and it really does make the camera feel a massice amount lighter.
