Hi,

who is?:lol::razz:

If you want a very good monitor then I'd look at the Eizo Flex Scan- a mate has the SX27 and it's pretty stunning. You may want to go the whole hog and get the Eizo ColorEdge although it is a bit dearer. By all accounts it is worth the extra so must be good.

I have a Dell and an HP though only in 24''. They are good so imagine the 27inch Dell is similar but if you want a very good monitor and aren't prepared to compromise on colour quality then I'd buy an Eizo.

i had a NEC spectraview and did not think much of it,
i am also in the market of a new screen band fancy the imac 27"

I have to agree, Eizo ColorEdge are the best monitors I have used

Hi,

I seen this monitor and it looks good but I like to know is it any good for photo editing photography use really.

Hered it has an anti glare...

Also, can it be connected with hdmi to hdmi as my laptop hasn't the dvi input

Hi Shane,

I've merged these two threads together, since they're both clearly asking about the same issue and asking for opinions on the same monitor.

We don't encourage multiple threads from the same user about the same issue (particularly when they're less than 24 hours apart!). Keeping it all in one place makes it easier for people to keep track of things and there may be information given in the original thread that might inform people's replies to subsequent questions.

If you need to update the thread with additional information / questions, you can always edit your thread title to reflect what has been added.

Really? The spectraview's are very well respected I thought?!

Going from a spectraview to a 27" IMac is a big step back in monitor quality as far as I'm aware. Reflections all over the gaff :gag:
