Last few shoots I've been involved with I've had access to a light meter which has made setting up the strobes/camera so much easier/quicker. Now made the decision to get myself one, so before i place my order for a Sekonic 308 can anyone think of any reason why not to or alternatives I should consider (e.g. the much cheaper non-branded units)?

Thanks
Andy

No. It's the most popular meter by far.

Like you said "easier/quicker" when you are setting up for a shoot the less time it takes the better for you and your model(s).
I have the sekonic L-308s and its a god send for setting up the flashes
