Yes
so apparently plusnet are closing up there mobile service which was allways great i thought.
they are owned by EE and looks like the offer is to slide onto EE plans.

anyone else got this message?

I am PN Mobile and yes they are closed to new customers....I was too late getting the OH on a mates rates SIM.

In comms with the Community PN contributors via PMs and a phone I had, so far, either they will be contacting all PN Mobile users in due course to advise they are dropping 'us' but EE will offer a special price...................or PN will allow & continue with current contracts.

FWIW I have looked at the EE rates and by comparison they or were pretty dire based on my having 6 GB for £6.86 pm

So to the future, none too sure when or if PN are going to close Mobile to current customers??? NB IIRC they closed to new customers on 11th April 2023

Yes had the email too. From how I read it, no new customer and current customers at some stage will be ask to leave to alternative provider.

i was offered 20gb for 12 bucks but not sure if that is 1m contract and includes roaming

One reason I liked PN Mobile compared to others I looked at at the time was roaming that included the Channel Islands. Almost every other provider excluded the CI in the free roaming list !

If/when(?) push comes to shove I hope I don't have pay more than £10 per month for the same sort of package I have now.

I had the same offer, also not sure about the other points.

The contract is used by my daughter and she does not yet want to switch but when she does I think I may go with 1p mobile (my contact is with) who I am with or voxi (my son has this) and do not want to be locked into a 12-24mth contracts.

1p mobile does look good

50GB for just £15 a month

Includes unlimited calls & texts

That is what I have. If you are planning on moving to them let me know and I can share a referral link.

humming between them and virgin media on 02

I have been with O2 and voxi, which is on Voda and had issues with both hence the move to 1p which use EE. So depending on where you are based O2 can also work.

Since moving to 1p service has been much better.
