Spotted this bit of pipework in a building I was working in this week.
I wondered what the official title was for this specific plumbing procedure :D

It's clearly the next step in economy home security, make your plumbing have a dual function and also prevent burglars getting in (and residents getting out).

Nice to see they've spent a lot of time finishing the electrics and getting the cables all chased into the walls to make everything neat as well. And is that woodchip or anaglypta on the walls? Both are the work of Satan.

I've seen many examples of 'dodgy bodgy' plumbing but that has to be up there as a winning entry :lol:
 
I have actually done that. In our last house we had a shower room with two doors. One from a bedroom and another opposite to a utility room.

The utility room door was screwed closed and never used so when my wife wanted a radiator in that room, guess what the easiest thing to drill through was!

And the radiator was actually across the door with the brackets srewed to the frame.
