Grab a book with some walking routes and get out there. You'll see plenty to keep you busy.

As Jim says head for the hills, especially above Casleton head up Mam Tor and the ridge, Edale head up jacobs ladder to the sandstone outcrops and wait for the lighting. There are also the plauge villages to visit try Hope, Ilam, several other too. Head further in to the peaks to some of the statley homes Chatsworth. lots to do and see.
hope this helps

A few suggestions from me...

around Hartington, Dovedale, Monsal Head/Dale, Litton, Millers Dale

I spent most of my youth & early twenties walking around Derbyshire and the surrounding area, some lovely scenery...unfortunately though it was all before I decided I was interested in photography

Curbar Edge is my favourite followed by Lathkill dale. There is also Chesterfield (Crooked Spire is always worth a shot). Sheldon, Cave dale (Castleton), Loosehill. You are spoilt for choice really.

would also say - Curbar Edge and Bakewell and my old Town, which is on the edge of the Peak District - Chesterfield
