Yes
I've been using 7dayshop for quite some time now, but a few weeks ago I purchased a lens cap for a Canon 100-400 lens and an ink cartridge. They arrived in bits. Four emails went unanswered the fifth asked for photos which I was sent to a named person, this also has been ignored.

:'(

I've used them several times without problems, as it seems you have in the past. Though with any business it is how they handle problems that can make or mar a reputation.

I've never had a problem myself, but they can be slow to deliver.

never had any problems apart from slowish delivery, have had stuff quicker from China

Had very slow delivery and when emails were answered they looked to have been answered by a 5 year old with poor English. They had not read the emails I sent and kept askin the same stupid questions. Only used the once, never again.

Had something broken in the post last week and used their contact us form on their site and had a reply within an hour and all sorted. Always had a good service them.

I've used them a number of times in the past and only once had an issue with something being damaged and they responded in a few hours.

Placed one order for an item showing in stock. Got email later in the day saying they had no stock left but would get some soon. I eventually cancelled the order 3 weeks later as I didn't want to wait any longer.

Not used them since they sold me a pirated version of Nero 7 (albeit for a bargain £8 or so); eventually they refunded the money but refused to refund the £4 postage.

Eeeeek... not good. Mind you ordered a copy of office 2003 pro from amazon and that had a photocopied license... sent it back straight away.

I have used them loads of times for batterys and memory cards with no problems, we get used to the delay in posted. But I have not as yet needed to return a item.

I had a leaky AA battery, sent them an email, got no response. Bout a week later got a replacement battery in a case in the post. Happy enough with that.

I too had slow postage from them, even though I paid for the premium delivery, and an item out of stock even though it showed up as in stock.

The other annoyance was that they insisted on spamming me and passing my email address on to their sister company even though I I ticked the "no spam" box. After they spammed me, I went to their unsubscribe site and signed off. They sent me an acknowledgement and the next day I got more spam off themand more again yesterday.

Bought a Lexar Card reader that doesn't work, just contacted them and will see how good there customer service is.

I used to order memory cards from them and they are pretty slow with their delivery. Since then I have stopped ordering from them.

add my 2p to this thread
I have bought quite a few items from them in the past without a hitch.. how ever I recently bought 4 items from them which were posted to me in two parcels the first one arrived with 3 items fine a couple of days later the 2nd parcel arriived with a camera battery broken beyond repair also in a package that was so flimsy it had been ripped open with the battery hanging out broken as clear as day
I contacted them by email and recieved no response bar the email that says we will be in contact after receiving yourt email etc
8 days later not heard a thing so this morning have sent them another email

it seem they are fine if nothing goes wrong but the jury is out as to what happens now regarding getting either a refund or a new battery

Received an email to return card reader, sent it free post and just received a replacement in the post today. So  from me as to how they dealt with it and the speed another one was sent out.

an update to my post above
it took about 5 weeks to finally get my broken battery sorted after getting zero response for about a fortnight and 5 emails to them filled in their form they they sent and a couple of emails back and forth accepting that the battery was broken in pieces during transit to my house
they offered a full refund or a replacement battery which I opted for and duly arrived about a week later
not great at getting problems sorted out but we did get there in the end

considering the prices on a lot of goods are a lot cheaper than the high st I can live with long postage times and Loooong waits for a response

I've ordered 3 times from them, had a problem the first time, which was resolved VERY quickly, emails answered near enough instantly...Was like having an instant chat! :D

Just had an order come through from them, was delivered within a week.

Same issue with long delivery times , but only used them once . From what I'm reading there very hit and miss with resolving issues .

I had to inform them when a battery failed after a few days, it was replaced without question.

generally been ok with them, but the last couple of orders I've bought stuff when it says "stock: plenty" only to get an email about 11pm that day to say it's out of stock and awaiting delivery of new stock.

and yes, not too quick on delivery, but try to order stuff from them that I don't need in a hurry :D
(though my latest order I thought I'd give their express delivery a go... will let you know!)

No probs with them at all, always triffic service to me,
Jim

Not the quickest, but never had a problem in the few times i've used them.

Got some batteries from them, slow but no major issues.

Need to be a bit careful of the quality of some items, but as always you get what you pay for :) I use them mainly for batteries, etc.

As I said in my post, if there is a UK acceptable warranty I'd be prepared to deal with them again.

However I'd rather stick to low cost items if using them again.

Like myself others have found them very hit and miss, my biggest bugbear wasn't even that I had to pay a total of £38 postage for a round trip with a lens, it was that it didn't even go to tokina and the repair report and test results I insisted on where not furnished. Add to that I'd listed the cameras the lens wouldn't work on and their first email reply was to tell me it worked on a totally different set of bodies. It smacked of indifference which I can't abide.

just as an example, I ordered 2x own brand en-el3e batteries and 2x Sandisk Ultra CF 4gb cards on Tue 31 May at 3pm... the batteries arrived today, Fri 3 June. this was using their 'express delivery' at £4.95.

CF cards are awaiting new stock (though the website said they had plenty when I placed the order).

compare that with mymemory.co.uk, order for 1x Sandisk Ultra CF 4gb card and 1x Hama card reader placed at 8am on Wed 1 Jun, arrived today Fri 3 Jun. using their £2.79 postage, which I think was 'express'.

It's because 892735dayshop are based off shore, so they are classified as 'Europe' for delivery practically.

I don't like them. Ever since they tried to charge 18 pounds for a roll of Kodak HIE Infrared film because it was being discontinued, I dumped them.

They're dumping film and doing mainstream electronics and batteries. They don't care for film - just out to make a fast buck. Plus they don't pay her majesty's taxes.

Only used them a few times for CF cards and batteries.

I stopped using them when I found that the SanDisk CF cards they were selling were fakes.

beats walking to a store for the profitable (for the shop) "bits" post free and vat free if under £18 an item................... always look here

just the same as mymemory and play... but they seem to ship faster. I've just cancelled my 'back order' for CF Sandisk cards, as I bought something from mymemory and the service/delivery was great... so have re-ordered through them.

Just very slow....Using the speedy delivery just means it is dispatched from their warehouse that day....it doesn't mean next day delivery !! I fell for this one too !!

I've used them quite a bit and the only problem i have had is witht he quality of their own brand products which have been a bit poor. customer service was good though and accepted returns on more than one occasion without hassle

Used them loads of times, without any problems, even when item out a stock, prompt email and dispatched when they said they would.
