any one bought one??

Is he reselling that disc he bought off Gary?

How can a dvd be "seller refurbished"?

I saw a poster on a market stall the other day which claimed it can revive scratched and dirty discs with images of something on the line of this(scratced disc) to this (shiny new-looking disc). Didn't investigate further though.

re-burned the disc they mean, shrunk it and re burned, takes out all the scratches on the DVD, it's sticking points,:( copy:D

re-selling sold 38 and more than 10 available
Merc

I've found out that he is illegally copying and re-selling my DVD's.
If you want to buy this particular copy, which is of the very first edition (before it was updated with new material) then you'd better be quick, he won't be selling on Ebay much longer:)

He says some nice things about me, but then he would wouldn't he...
Pity that he can't spell my name (or anything else) :)

If you want to buy the real thing though, just go to my website http://www.photolearn.co.uk

Oh dear, hope everything goes ok?! Lol trust me to find something like that.

maybe you should offer a sample of the dvd to download , so poeple can judge weather your dvds will help them . also have a registration scheme for
getting online support.

the sample would give poeple a tase of what is on the dvd.

Cheers Steve

I hope you'll be sending him a nice bill for the full retail price of each copy he's sold ;)

Well, there are samples on the site - this is the page for this particular video - and customer support, which is unlimited with no time limits, works partly on the basis of trust and partly because I can check that someone with that email address has in fact bought from me.

What I haven't had to do before this, is to deal with someone who has stolen from me in an organised way

Maybe a reward for finding it lol joking :) hope it gets sorted ok.

Aye and then some more for the hassle. At least he's the courtesy to give you his registered business address for you to send the bill to and then the small claims court documents to.

sorry i , just looked at how much your products where,
i will have a proper look at you site soon .

good luck with sorting out the rip off merchant

ps i might be looking into getting one soon.

Cheers Steve

Looking at the rest of the stuff the guy is selling and almost everything involves copyright theft...

Well, he's just sold another one - to me:)
And I also bought a copy of 'his' wedding tutorial, which I strongly suspect is mine too.

There's nothing like having physical evidence of theft...

Make sure you take this all the way Garry, you need to make sure you get all that you are owed!

this is going to be an interesting one.........

he didn't cotton onto he was selling a "Garry Edwards DVD" to a Garry Edwards ???????? Hmm not the brightest light in the harbour!

have you reported it to ebay yet to stop you getting rip off more

Cheers Steve
I did, last night, but all I got back was the usual automated email saying how seriously Ebay take this kind of thing, and saying that I had to register on their VERO scheme, stating that I own the property rights to the item(s) he is selling.

So far so good, but when I clicked on the link I found that I had to print off their form, fill it in and fax it to them - I didn't know that anyone still used faxes:)
******s

I meant to add, that I'm one of the people who doesn't use faxes anymore...

There's a very good swearword filter on TP, perhaps I should have spelt it bankers instead...

Sad to find a fellow forum member being ripped off to this extent, I had a look through the stuff he has on there... As Garry mentioned the wedding disk it caught my eye as I have seen it somewhere before.. Not sure where though..

Lets hope he gets taken down soon... Why are they so far behind with the technology though? GRRRRRR..

If I was the cynical type I might wonder whether they were more interested in pretending to want to stamp out theft than actually doing it.

Make sure he pays you in real money and not his own self-printed stuff.....

 indeed, on the upside it is Aston Villa :D

They are also advertising a photoshop DVD tutorial using Scott Kelbys name, i wonder what Mr Kelby would think of that

Well the listing is ended now. Don't forget to contact paypal - they are the one's handling the money for stolen goods and might (hopefully) freeze his paypal account.

From his details it looks like the seller is located very close to me. Anyone want to pm me his address and I will pop round and give him a shock when I am back in the uk on wednesday, Can take brother in law with his warrant card and point out the error of his ways!!!

As he's a business seller his address is shown down at the bottom of each listing...

Sorry, missed that. Only have an iPad for net access here, address says it all really, no offense but scum of the earth area, probably one of the scrotes that spends his daylight hours selling ripped off DVDs on the town market 3 days a week.

Still in Kenya till Wednesday but will pop round towards the weekend and have a nosey at the place, but initial impressions are it will be the seller from the market that does all the copies or one of his cronies

And a quick search on the ebay address above provides details for the above photographer advertising his services on gumtree & facebook

Well, I contacted Ebay and they took the listing down, although he is still selling other items that look to me to be knock-offs...
And I left him negative feedback.
And now I've had a message from him saying that leaving him negative feedback was unfair because he bought the disk, therefore it's his to copy and sell.

I originally thought that he's dishonest, now I'm beginning to wonder whether he's just stupid:)
