This year's venue and date

Is on Sunday 27th October, at the holiday inn , Barnsley rd, dodworth, Barnsley , S75 3JT and its free to the public .

We have decided that this year, we will not be charging admittance to day visitors on the show day. We want to say thanks to all who have joined the forum over the last eight months, and to all who find us through Facebook and various forums.

We also want to say thanks to our trade members for supporting us and exhibiting, and the best way for us to do this is to have the best show we can, with plenty of visitors attending.



Hotel address is Barnsley Rd, Dodworth, Barnsley S75 3JT
 
The entire hotel all rooms will have hifi enthusiasts showing their own systems
Its all about the love of music / hifi , each person bringing a system from home , setting up in a room and being willing to let other see /enjoy the systems / sounds , This have been running for some time and was previously HiFi Wigwam now no longer around , If you can come along we look forward to seeing you on the day , I will have a room and will be exhibiting .

I was on The Wam and moved to The Mav when that died.

I shall try to attend.
 
On previous events the entry was £10 per person , This year free entry , Not sure that will continue as it does cost to set up these events , More so when you are hiring the entire hotel .
 
A bit far away for me but well done on the free entry and wishing you success.
 
wow i used to work in Barnsley actually on Dodworth road at S.R.Gents
 
In a past life I was aWammer and demonstrated systems at the original Scalford Hall venue

One year - Streamer -> Meridian 568.2 DAC Processor -> Meridian 559 -> Shahinian Obelisks
Other Time - Streamer -> Leema DAC/Pre -> Mackie Active Speakers

Don't have either system now, spent all my money on cameras :ROFLMAO:

Not sure I'd want to 'show' at a free to entry event - it's all the owner's own kit, and paying an entry fee usually gives a certain amount of respect!
 
The show will have a donation bucket , If you feel you should pay something you can.
All proceeds are going to a local Barnsley hospice as the Maverick forum is now run as not for Profit.

my stuff is all gone as well i am more portable and less still costs more :-(
