any linux or mythTV users?

I've just installed Mythdora (Fedora with MythTV) but i'm having trouble in getting it to stream video / music from my windows PC, anybody know how to config mythTv?

Sorry, never used it myself.

Are you trying to stream it from the PC to the fedora box (connected to a TV?) or the other way round (checking for typos )?

that's the one, i've got mythTV to play media but only when I copy it to the fedora box hard drive. I'm not sure how to get it to stream the media from my PC so i don't have to copy it over

By the way, you might want to try streaming the video from your Windows PC using the VLC media player.

sorted now, just had to mount the share to a dir then target that dir from mythTV, cheers for the help Slapo
