Any iPad Air 2 users ?

Looking at maybe getting the above but never having owned an Apple product i'm wondering how consistant the Touch id feature is.

Why i ask is from Apples www it appears you touch the pad to activate instantanious ready and un locking but from a Youtube video the reviewer said you actually hover over the pad and it's quit tricky to get the right distance before your print is read.

I would assume Apple know their product but wanted a users input before i throw money at it.

Do you mean iPad Air 2? The Touch ID is very responsive on my iPhone if that helps.

You just press your finger on it, not hover. That's probably why it didn't work for him.

Yep, you have to touch it. We have one & it's never failed & is fast

Never had a problem, but just hovering will not work. Some people are just idiots.
