Any Ideas!Flash remote trigger

Hi Guys
Hope someone can give me an answer on this one. I,m having a play around with studio portraits and flash. I was trying to get a shot of the wife and myself and was attempting to use my remote trigger, here is my question. The camera and flash both fire if I press the reciever trigger attached to the camera but if I use the radio sender unit the camera shoots but does not trigger the flashlights,why is this. The lights are Interfit EXD 200 and I normally trigger them with a sender unit in the hot shoe.......I'm bamboozled

Thats exactly what I did Michael, it wasn't a problem, just can't see why if the camera is firing then its not setting off the flash.

Some units require a certain trigger voltage to fire don't they? Your triggers may not have enough juice perhaps?

But it will fire them if I press the remote button on the reciever part attached to the camera just not when I press the radio sender unit.
Just looked at your portraits by the way.....fantastic
