Just wondering are there any guitar players out there?? If so, what do you like to play?? And what guitar do you play on?

About myself:

I have a Cort Electro-acoustic guitar (this is a G-body) I love the larger sized bodies.

I also own a Fender Strat Squier remake.

As to what songs I play, I really like to play a lot of the new pop and R&B stuff but lately I have played a lot of Carlos Santana and Everlast.

Ibanez FGM100 LTD, 1981 Fender texmex strat,
Tanglewood TW12 12 String Electro Acoustic,
Yamaha APX9 Electroclassical Cutaway

Rock, Rock and more Rock. :D

Well, I am the sort of person that plays like 5 minutes a day :) Just a little hobby.

I spent 3 years playing 5 hours a day, (i had no life :D) now it'll only be when im recording something or writing something.

Epiphone PR-775S accoustic (early 90's)
Epiphone X-1000 electric (late 80s bit of a shredder)
Fender Precission Bass

Played a bit in a metal band in the early 90's - tend to just play my accoustic these days although I've just started to 'teach' my eldest daughter.

I have Ovation 6 string and Eko 12 string acoustics. Used to have a Fender Strat and Peavey amp for rare gigs, but now just twang along in many styles from Zappa/Doobie bros to Beatles for my own amusement.

Ive been playing now for about 12+ years but rarely play much these days.

Ive got an Epiphone in the loft that i never play and a nice Simon & Patrick acoustic that i pick up and play now and again

I've played for 13 years starting off with cheap guitars.
Guitars now are:

PRS se custom 22
Fender Strat
Lorenzo acoustic
Groove bass

2 other cheap guitars which I should really get rid of.

I also play keyboard, drums and mandolin.

I like music :D

Not playing enough TBH..

Kit.

Ibanez RG170L
Ibby RG430L

Just quickly took this....funny really, but I don't take many photos of my guitars.
Been playing a long time, I'd probably be a hell of a lot better if I could stick to one style of playing.
I do play out now and then, sometimes on my own, sometimes with a harp(harmonica) player and sometimes with a little blues combo (harp, drums and upright bass).

The '69 archtop guitar (in the middle),is my favourite, I got it in the early ebay days from the US FOR $200,
it gets played almost every day!

I haven't played in a while but keep meaning to find the time...I miss it. I play mainly rock riffs from the 70's such as Purple, Led Zep and Rush but also some of the early White Stripes. Guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul Standard in Cherry Sunburst.

I have a Westone Thunder 1a electric & Takamine Cedar top cutaway.

I don't get a lot of playing time atm but like to try a bit of Dire Straits, Floyd etc............

I think I might put the laptop down & grab one now!

I've got an Epiphone LP Standard in trans blue, would love to get a PRS at some point but photography is getting in the way at the moment ($$) , been playing for around 7 years, mostly rock and older metal \,,/

My Kal, that Tele is gorgeous.

Back in the 80's as a spotty youth, I was bassist in a band and played a cheap Hohner fretless bass :cringe: until it almost fell to bits. It went in the free-ads along with the Laney amp for £50 (towards the lens fund!) last year.

When the band packed up, I picked up acoustic guitar and bought a Takamine EN10-C back in the late 80's just to mess around on with my brother. (Plenty of disposable income back then :sigh: )

That got fell on early this year and the insurance paid out enough for me to get a shiny new Takamine TF241DLX. It's gorgeous. Below is a shot I took for a college project (based around music)

Mostly now I just strum along to rock tracks, or play old beatles/folk tunes. Purely for personal satisfaction. I'd miss not having it around even though I'm just not very good!

Ian.

Hi, I see you're in the Charente region....ever been to the Cognac blues festival?

Yeah, been there a couple of times and it's prety good with lots going on on the street as well as in the venues. Only trouble is headliners often don't start playing until the early hours and then there's the drive home.

Ibanez EW200 its quite a nice electroacoustic. And a strat remake thats upgraded to hotrail humbuckers, its a really nice sound. My pride and joy is a 3rd party les paul that doesnt work but has been completely covered in beer bottle caps...that took a while!
