Hi Guys - I would really like to do a one day wildlife photography course but can't seem to find any that sound any good. I live in Cheshire, but don't mind a bit of travelling if I can find the right one.
I only have a 300 f4, so may have to go on a course that may offer use of equipment.

I have a falconry centre nearby who do courses, but I would prefer wild animal/birds rather than captive.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks for looking.

Fancy skomer or Pembrokeshire? You could check out Andy Davies on here.

Had a look at THESE?

Sorry just noticed "not captive" but maybe worth a look

Have a look at WildArena, who offer a wide variety of events and courses.

www.wildarena.com

They are now based at Knowsley Safari Park, so quite close to you.

Cheers for all the links guys. I had no idea they did this at Knowsley. I'll be having a look at all of these and see what they all offer.

I did a Wild Arena day at Knowsley. It wasn't a training course as such but we had access to a couple of people throughout the day who knew their stuff.

I did a course run by http://www.dimensionphotography.co.uk/Courses/ at Twycross Zoo back in October last year. we even had the keeper coming around with us, and we were timed to shoot the various animals at feeding time

This one looks pretty good and not too far away. Can you tell me what animals you got to shoot (pardon the expression:))? It doesn't say much on the site description.
