Any good lens deals at Focus event

Sounds like people had a good time at Focus event today.
I'm maybe going tomorrow and I've got lens lust :D .
Anyone know if there are any good deals on Sigma lenses, big zooms probably :shrug:

Jacobs were one of the extremely few stalls selling anything - as a result of this they were mobbed and the queues were stall-long and 4 people deep, it was a nightmare.

Didn't get to look at any lenses at all today, just couldn't get near. If I go again next year I think I'll be going on a weekday :)
 
Jacobs sold out od the ef2x converter in an hour and a bit. Most of the grade b lenses went very fast as well.

Mind you they did see a fair bit of my switch card today!

Avoid the flash centre. They where more costly than warehouse express prices with next day delivery!
 
The Flash Centre had some good demonstrations though, which I watched for quite a while. Tempted to get a Dlite2 kit from Warehouse Express now though...

I didn't get my 430EX, Kerso still works out cheaper than any of the "specials" that were at Focus, although Sarah picked up a bargain Lowepro case for her camera for a tenner from one of the smaller stands.

Nice to meet everyone and put names to faces though, just a shame it was so busy and there wasn't enough time to get round everything as well as spend some time with the TP peeps!
 
There were no real bargains imho. All the stuff at Jacobs etc had signs saying "Focus Special Prices" but they were normal prices tbh.

I know this thread is about the Focus Show but fyi Jacobs ARE doing Special Focus Prices on some stuff ONLINE (RobertP has already nabbed a bargain 24-105 f4 IS) - See my thread here in the Bargains Forum http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=18409

The worst focus by far.

I must admit Jacobs had plenty stock of everything but it was all way overpriced, apart from the Grade B 30D £599 (loads in stock today monday), and 5D + 24-105 kit £ 1889.
