Im a bit bored, so im probably going to have a play with some still life shots(Most likely macro still life). Was just wondering if anyone knew of any guides or good examples, or had any general tips. Ive got 2x50w daylight bulbs(Not much I know) and a ghetto style lightbox. Any ideas?:)

Ok, ive started playing around with beanshoot things and water droplets. But here a question for you lot.. how do I make big water droplets? Im guessing I have to increase the viscosity of the water, but when I add shampoo to make it thicker, it doesn't seem to help. Smells nice though.:lol:

Funnily enough I was reading something in a thread on here about an hour ago and someone said to use oil instead of water when using water droplets in photos. Worth a try :shrug:

:thinking: not to sure about this mate but i think you need whatever has the thickest consistency.. good luck i wana know how you get on with this..:thumbs:

Ok, now I have a small plate with samples of;

Olive oil
Shampoo
Liquid hand soap
Runny Honey
Golden Syrup

Place your bets now!:D

:lol: good luck :D

Golden Syrup is giving quite cool results. Im going to try and get the shutter speed up, so i can catch the droplets as they fall.
