Ultimate handyman is one I often use for when I need expert advice - the sparky forum has been my most frequented

Loads of good ones around but as said getting through the rubbish, or those which are close to what you need but not quite right, can take time.

I didn't know that was still going - it seemed to fizzle out a bit several years ago and grind to a bit of a halt..

Not used it much in the last year or so but just looked and has plenty of posts for today, dont know what quality of the advice now though if thats the case
