Piccy below is of my right leg from about 10 years ago. Had more work done since then

Have alook at my flickr pages, got a lot of tat shots on there. Off to the manchester show on sunday.

As for piercings, I only have two in my left ear (ones a 5mm tunnel), used to have the nipple done, until I forgot to put a protective pad over it when working and it got ripped out. That smarted a bit!!! :gag:

Great series back in the 1980s. Provided you took your brain out before watching, it was a good laugh and quite entertaining.

The 'Visitors' who looked like humans were really alien lizard type creatures and could peel off their 'human' outer layer to reveal lizard type skin - hence the comments when you described your possible leg tattoo.

When you say implants do you mean microdermals as in semi-permanent single point piercings I have had 4 clavicle microdermals but none were as semi-permanent as advertised :(

I also have about 10 tattoos and the same number of piercings.

I am so jealous of you right now, I have Samppa's mobile number, so it's as soon as I can afford them I will be ringing him and driving to London for definate!
 
that's if you know who Samppa is, but with implants, you damned well should, or you don't deserve them!

I know him...bit of a dodgy character according to a couple of the girls he's worked with - occasionally (according to the models) expected to be entertained post-shoot with 'extra-curricular activities of a non-photographic nature' and then got very rude and abusive when said 'extras' were denied him...

Been faving his some of his stuff for ages now, though it gets a bit same-old, same-old after a while...

If I was closer I would definately be paying him a visit, I had mine done in Manchester and they all rejected in approx. 4 months. They are definately not the semi-permanent piercings they were thought to be when they were first introduced. In fact I would go as far as to say my surface nape piercing lasted longer than my microdermals. I know a lot of people who have them and no-one has managed to keep them longer than six months. They are still temporary in my opinion.
 
Jeez, Arkady, that's gutting to hear that about him, just lost a great deal of respect. Can't fault his work, but I get what you mean about it getting very samey.

Actually, I was in Uni with a guy who used to hang his keys (which were on a carrabino) from his nipple ring!

I know someone who's had the implants done by Samppa, and I've known him just over a year and a half, and he had his done waaay before I mwt him and he's still got his original ones in! It's probably skin type or summat silly!
 
Got a couple of small tattoos and had both ears done 25 or so years ago. Right lobe went bad so retired it about 20 years ago, although there's still a pit both sides. Right lobe is stretched out to 10mm but (to carry on from the other thread) even with a solid stainless steel ring through it it doesn't set off airport metal detectors. Could be the type of metal (surgical stainless) or could just not be enough metal.

oooh, will be able to get my tat coloured soon now, as I'm getting some moneys, I'm not sure wether to get a nifty fifty or tat coloured first...AAAARGGHHH the decisions!!
 
I'm fascinated by body mods on others, but my phobia of needles keeps most of the work away from me - I've got a couple of ear piercings and also left nipple (didn't hurt, but getting it done on the spur of the moment on the way into work one day was not the smartest thing I've ever done.) I've also got two very small tattoos, but that;s the limit of it....
