Feels like we're due a cashback scheme from Canon in the run up to Christmas but has anyone heard anything?

Need to buy some more gear but a bit worried a cashback scheme will start up the week after I do :)

i remember last xmas quite a few cash back deals

i really should learn what quidco is

10% quidco cashback at Jessops at the mo.

Do you know if this definately covers DSLRs, and if you collect from store.

If it does, do you happen to know what triggers the cashback, do you have to make sure of anything when collecting in store......what I mean is sometimes when PC World used to do cashback for collect in store, the twits would just ignore the collection and sell the items normally, meaning you would not get the cashback.

Want to get a 500D so 10% is a decent amount.

Hi everyone,

I have seen this cash back offer on a few websites now. At the weekend i was researching the purchase of a Canon 450D with Twin Lenses and this was available at an on-line retailer for £619.99. Their website changed yesterday to accomodate the £30 cash back offer but their price increased to £678.99! I was suprised at this because the cash back is from Canon themselves but the retailer confirms this is their new price.

Absolute beginner looking to purchase first DSLR so apologies if this observation is old news, and a regularly observed practise, to long established members.

Best wishes,

Tracey

If you're a beginner after your first DSLR then you can't really go wrong with either the 450D or 500D and I'd strongly recommend seeking out Kerso as his prices are amongst the best and he provides a UK invoice you can use to claim the cashback from Canon.

Hi,

Thanks very much for your advice, it is appreciated. I have arranged for Ian to send me a list.

Kind regards,

Tracey
