Any aircon or refrigeration techicians around?

I'm after a metre or so of soft rubber or neoprene thick wall tubing, 8 to 15mm OD, and it's been suggested to me that stuff like that is used in aircon and/or refrigeration systems. I've got nowhere smurfing the interweb, so can any kind soul suggest a possible source?

Try a refrigeration/aircon service company. Look in yellow pages or the current equivalent and keep an eye out for their vans - the engineer will probably cut a couple of metres off the roll for some beer money!

Does colour matter? Aquarist suppliers usually stock the clear stuff for water pumps/filters.

Thanks guys. Silicon tubing's out Carl on account of the wall isn't thick enough for the purpose. 273K, I appreciate the offer and will PM you at the weekend if the bit of 10mm OD thick-wall rubber tube I'm supposed to have coming hasn't happened by then ...

Problem unexpectedly solved, thanks to a length of what I suspect is advance/retard tubing for vintage lorries.
