any advice on taking pics of toads

Hi all ,i've just bought 2 cane toads and was wondering on the best way to go about getting some good shots of them
i will be using a sony a230 and lighting well all i have is an on board flash at the moment , any hints tips most welcome :)

I am of course joking :D

#1 looks pretty good to me.. #2.. well I hate selective colouring and the B&W conversion looks.. flat.

Lighting.. As you can see it causes a reflection on the toad's skin, really you need to diffuse this, best bet I think is something like a cotton cloth, toilet paper (unused!) or similar, play about with thickness until you get enough light but without a strong reflection :)

thanks hun , will give that ago later , i may get them out the tank first and get some more natural light as well as some diffused ... now all i need is loo roll and all of hubbys torches , and lots of willing helpers :) tat will be the kids jobs today lol
i think i need to rewrite my shopping list to include lighting for toads :thumbs:
