Not sure how many on here subscribe to Netflix, but if you do and you're a fan of his then you can watch a documentry about him on there just now.

I watched it last night as was really interesting... especially the bit where he takes a shot with a point and shoot and then mumbles angrily under his breath about how much he hates digital photography :D

Lots of his work is shown in the doc so even if you aren't aware of him it's well worth a watch

wow i would love to see this but i havent netflix though.

he was one of the best, the stuff he did for NME stood out amongst some great photographers

If I remember I'll have a look for it tonight. Cant say I know who he is, but my horizons wouldn't be damaged from being made a little broader :)

He's THE guy when it comes to shooting bands and rock stars basically... strong images with a real edgy black and white contrast in style... he breaks a load of the rules of photography but my god it works when he does!

I'm ashamed to say I only knew him from directing music videos until recently. Even worse, the image on my oldest t-shirt (A 13 year old Nirvana one) was photographed by him and I was completely oblivious to it. I'd love to see this as well.

Finally got round to watching this. It was excellent!

A portrait of a man on the run from himself! A brilliant documentary. Thanks for flagging this up.

Watched it this afternoon, pretty good.

I found that strange, he hates digital photography because he cant see what he's shooting.
