Where would I look for some nice deer and moose antlers? I feel the pics on the walls aren't quite enough - some bits of wildlife would be great to enjoy while eating venison dinner at night
Used to find them out in the wild all the time, go to your local deer park for a walk,I'm sure you'll find some.
If you were only driving a bit faster down Rannoch Moor on Friday night, you might have whacked one with your car, then it would be a matter of cutting the head off and a DIY job of stuffing it, how hard can it be?
I've a few sets.
Make great dog chews too...........
They sell them chopped into small pieces in shops now !
But please be careful a lot of dogs are breaking teeth on them![]()
Aye - 'Stag Bars'
They've sold them for ages & my my post was mocking them![]()
To be fair I know people whose dogs have broken teeth on regular bones, stones and even a nylabone.
I don't think it makes the antler chews inherently bad chew toys.

Ok slight admission, I have it in the conservatory, along with matching wall lights

I was after a pair for the dining room but in the end they were just two deer.
and the bloke selling them was just trying to make a quick buck. In hindsight, I should have looked in the forest.
