Anti social behaviour is a mental illness.

usual 'headline bears no relation to underlying research'.

The telegraph is going downhill with its science coverage.

it's just pandering to its usual sandal & cordrouy wearing left wing PC readership...

HEY, i have to say hepburn, i find my cords very comfortable thanks

Here we have it, the excuse for all those yobs and lowlife out there.
So next time you are affected by yobish behaviour you have to feel sorry for them because they are "suffering" from a mental illness.

Utter ********!!!!!!!

I would feel sorry for them :shake: I might even visit them in hospital :D

hep, i'm cooking some nice lentils tonight, shall i save you a place at my table?

Once again we see the media jump on the bandwagon with pathetic news stories in the interests of selling more papers to those who believe everything that they read.

Have to say though, shamefully, it's prevalent almost everywhere - this diabolical, ridiculous, political correctness absolute nonsense.

"hep, i'm cooking some nice lentils tonight, shall i save you a place at my table? "

best keep your windows open in that case :gag:

i'll send you some smells, my windows open and it's windy (so to speak) tonight

I have to say I was rather taken with David Cameron's speech today. Not wishing to engage a political discussion or even believe what he said, but what did surprise me was the number of references to PC nonsense he made. Nice to see a politician openly acknowledge the absurdity of them

... and did you see the positive reaction when he commented on 'School exchange visits"...? and the almost valueless CRB check.

It's a "mental illness" that is usually "cured" by social work-endorsed,taxpayer-funded trips to Tenerife....

Funded trip to Canvey Island, and left there, might be more appropriate! ;)

I'm having a bad day - anyone want to fund a trip to the Bahamas for me? :D

Two things I have a problem with here.

One, the media pandering to the hysteria that they helped create in order to sell more papers / get more viewers etc, by wording things deliberately to stir it up.

And two, this research group was paid to discover that people under pressure get more annoyed than those who don't.

No **** sherlock!

Strange, I had always thought of the Telegraph as a running-dog lacky of the reactionary right.

If you behave in a criminal way through mental illness people can still be prosecuted and locked up! It's not a get out of detention card free and while the compus mentus get a sentence to serve the criminally mentally ill can be detained at her majesties pleasure and still be detained after 25yrs!

So who'd like to call the next yob they encounter "retarded"? :p

Being retarded doesn't make you a bad person!

Am I taking this all a bit too seriously????:baby:

Maybe...!

But being a bad person also doesn't mean you are retarded either, just a bad person. That's the point here. People who are bad people, are bad people, simple as. No need to PC the way they are referred to by suggesting they might have some form of mental illness... poor things!

They are bad people, end of.
