Brilliant, I tend not to shoot where I may gave a run in with security guards so have not experienced this kind of thing, I have had run in's with the police and road wombles but never had any issues

Security guards aren't paid to know the law of the land, especially about something like photography, they are paid to enforce the rules they are told to enforce. The issue should lie with the people that tell them photography is not allowed.

Agreed. These guys are probably paid minimum wage and not necessarily the sharpest tools in the box.

Abusing them is fairly pointless - they do not make the rules.

No, but other than the odd guard with a hitler personality most are decent enough. However, the video is targeting the wrong people, it should be the bosses and trainers of the guards!
 
The rant at the end is just pure comedy, it's all in tongue and cheek so I can not see why people are getting uppity over it. It's almost equivalent to feeling sorry for the mole king at the end of the Incredibles.
