Another Yorkshire newbie

Hi all, just checking in.

I recently picked up a Canon 400d and then a Tamron 70-300mm VC USD lens with the intention to put it to use at Waddington Airshow next week.

I've been interested in photography for a long time but have never had the funds or the time to get into it. Can't say I have any more of either now, but have decided to bite the bullet regardless!

Looking forward to learning lots from many of you, and maybe getting some c+c when I'm brave enough to put any of my stuff up for review.
