I am probably going to buy myself a new laptop as my old one is now well and truly past it.
It will have occasional light use mainly office, web browsing etc. but no games. However I would like the option of doing a little bit of photo editing as well but this would just be the odd time I am away from my main editing pc.
My head is now in a spin looking at all the options and I’ve now decided I need to stop looking too much and just make a decision.
I would like to pay around £450-600.
I found these on amazon and I’d be interested in any comments on them or any alternatives I could consider.

I’m not too bothered about battery life or weight as it will be mainly used in my living room but lightweight would be good if possible to get without compromising other features such as ram cpu.
