Another what flash.......

Im gettinq quite confused looking at flashes, seems alot of choice out there.
I would say 99% of what i shoot i dont need a flash, but i would like one mainly for the odd family occaision but would like something to enable me to branch out and have a play/experiment in the future with some other areas of photography
camera is a mk1 5d, budget would be £100 ish and im not worried about 2nd hand stuff

What sort of flash you after? Hotshoe or studio type flash?

I've got one of these and an SB900, both work as well as the other (although Jessops only goes down to 1/16th power)

you might want some triggers to fire it off camera, yongnuo triggers (RF602 or 3) are dirt cheap and work well.
