Only one, Yevhenii Sakun. He was killed by the collapse of the Kiev TV tower after a Russian missile strike.

So slightly different circumstances.

There's been the odd crap baiting type post, but in the main it's been fairly amicable and informative.

Nope I realise that. It's just that any vaguely important international incident brings the loons out of the closet.

I had a look and it was pretty much as I expected.
 
So someone starts a thread about the death of journalist and almost everyone else goes on about another thread. Guys just take a look at yourselves, please.

That’s one that we know of. There may be more. There have been many civilians slaughtered because that's where they live.

As for the tower: “The extent of the damage was not immediately apparent, and the tower remained standing.”

No of course not, but it clearly meant something to the OP otherwise why start a thread. My post was just that people then start bickering about why it should or shouldn't be on the Ukrainian thread, and or how good or bad that thread is.

I did. The only difference being that I rather stupidly replaced 'destroyed' (the wording that the Ukrainians are using) with 'collapsed'.

That's probably why I'm a photographer not a blunt.

Now pop off somewhere else you sad little person.

Quite ironic your post, since you derailed this thread and then resulted to petulant ad hom against another member!

Anyway getting the thread back on track Meth Storm was a really great documentary, he was a really good journalist and film maker and it is a tragedy he was murdered by the Russian forces.
