Posting as head's up for those that might not be familiar with it but I got an e-mail today, letting me know that my Window's Defender subscription has been 'kindly' paid and here is my invoice.



I won't be responding as it's a scam, be wary troopers.

I won't be responding as it's a scam, be wary troopers.

AFAIK the spam filtering used by my ISP stops a lot(many?) such 'spam' emails and my internet security program with its integration with my MS Office Outlook email client flags a number of others.

If you seeing such obviously spurious & spam like emails, are there any ISP settings and/or on your PC precautions you can take?

FWIW I don't use Windows Defender and never have done.
