So I have a great big shed (it's one of those Finnforest log cabins made of smooth planed timber).
The outside is painted in Sadolin. The inside has been sitting there for about 6 years without any coating. Now I want to paint it. I want to go for that chalky beach hut sort of look without spending a great deal of money
Maybe a bit like this
Question....if I'm happy with a "smart distressed" finish, do I actually need to use eggshell? Could I save some time and money by using (say) a couple of coats of acrylic primer followed by a coat or 2 of white emulsion? Is there any reason to use actual wood paint on wood?
