Another Prophoto/Yoast question

I am trying to use the Yoast plugin with Prophoto 5 but, because I have my homepage text inserted via the bio area widget, it doesn't show up when viewing the page in the dashboard.

Does this mean the bio area is not the right way to do it or, is it just a conflict between Yoast and Prophoto which should be ignored?

If you want to see how google actually views it use 'fetch as google bot' from webmaster tools. Yoast is fantastic, but it is only a very good guide.
