Hello,

Like most of the threads on here, I'm in two minds about what to do, I am thinking about buying this

http://panamoz.com/index.php/digita...th-ef-s-18-55-mm-f-3-5-5-6-is-lens-kit-1.html

And a few other options, One being the 1 Year Replacement Warranty, Personally not sure if to add that as surely the Gaurantee covers that??

Also concerned about the BT , I've read all the threads and everything seems to be ok, I supposed im just after a bit of reassuring.

I do realise it a great price and like everyone keeps saying you would'nt be able to buy it secondhand for their price.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sam

Really glad I got my Nikon 24 f1.4 from Panamoz, excellent service and quick delivery.
Almost everyone uses BT for classified purchases here on TP so why not a company rather than an 'unknown' individual?
As for the replacement warranty:

The 1 Year Replacement Warranty provides you with these extras:
- Instead of waiting for repairs to be done, you will have a brand new replacement within 7-10 business days
- The option to receive another brand new item that has equal or better specifications if we're unable to provide a brand new replacement

In addition, we offer:

The Panamoz.com 14 Day Money Back Guarantee - Your complete satisfaction is very important to us. We provide you with a 14 Day Money Back Guarantee. Within 14 days of the date of delivery, you can return your new and unused product for any reason for a full refund, less any shipping and handling charges.

Why buy secondhand when you can buy new for the same or even less?

Hi Gramps,

Thanks for that, I know i'm being too cautious, and the link you copied from their website about Replacement Warranty is sound given the extra £12 is not worth not adding it.

I believe the replacement warranty is free with some items.

I would imagine it would too under certain condition , ie DOA or damage in transit, or a failure after a few days, not sure about anything else though, Thanks for your reply though.

That consumer right goes without saying in all purchases online from any retailer.

A random check on 3 lenses show they come with a free replacement warranty, good if your lens develops a fault in the first 12 months! assuming it is a body you are buying, for £12 it is peace of mind.

Their site says that the final price is all you pay, it includes all charges that may be imposed.

Another good point is you have a uk address for returns.

Can any one tell me what the fee is to do BT to them.

There is no fee (maybe your standard banking fees if a business) do you have online banking with your account? If so, then it's just a matter of setting them up and transferring the money into the account details that will be sent to you with the invoice.

That the problem in that what i was hoping to do was go into a HSBC high street bank and get them to transfer, ( I don't have an account with them though)

Are you wanting to pay cash in?

Well that should be fine, HSBC should be able to supply you with a pay-in slip and you just fill in the details from the Panamoz invoice onto the pay-in slip, pay in your money and get it stamped ... make sure it has the Panamoz reference number (on the invoice) and off you go :)

Just pop off a question to Tina via the contact icon on the Panamoz site, I'm sure she will help you out...

Seem to from time to time, but you can PM them or email them ( support <at> panamoz.com )

just wondered that all, most likely do it at the end of the month.
