Hi everyone, I'm Jenn (usually known online as either Northernbaygirl or GeordieJenn), I'm 33 and live in Northumberland (about 16 miles from Newcastle). I've been into digital photography since picking up a Fuji compact with 3mp & 3z optical zoom 10 years ago. Since then I've had 3 Fuji bridge cameras, a Canon 350D with 18-55 & 70-300 lenses and now own and use a Panasonic Lumix LZ30 with 35x optical zoom (a Christmas present) and a 2nd hand Nikon D3000 with 50mm f/1.8D (and a Tamron 28-300mm on its way). I don't stick to any 1 particular area of photography and will photograph pretty much anything that catches my eye (although wildlife, architecture and aviation/aerobatic displays are firm favourites). I'm rather out of practise with my photography having spent the past 8 months either house-bound or severely limited in how far I could walk, I'm steadilly getting 'fitter' after having a procedure at the end of November to reset my heart to a normal rhythm and really want to get back into my hobby properly.

Welcome to TP Jenn - Glad that you are on the mend. There's lots of information on the forum and friendly folks too to really help you get the best out of your photography :)
