I Did dabble with flim a few years ago but stopped doing it due to personal circumstances so decided to bite the bullet and treat myself christmas just gone.
I ended up buying a fuji finepix s1500 which i think is a really great camera, i didnt really want an slr as i dont like the bulk factor of them but didnt want a compact either
looking forward to having a natter and learning plenty things on this site.
maybe i will put some close up /macro pics on in the next few days as i collect coins and need to photograph my coins of which theres a few hundred so should keep me quiet for the day.
Last but not least i"ve had a look at some of the photo"s on here and there all incredible.
