Hi,
I have been referred to this website by a friend on Twitter. I am a complete 100% beginner and just teaching myself as I go along, reading books, websites, mags and of course this wonderful forum
Loads of tips and photo's on here.
My name is Matt, my local area is Ballycastle on the North Coast of Ireland, surrounded by natural beauty everywhere but unfortunately I want to get into the sports side of things like motor sports etc, but other than football and hurling there is not much happening here (although there is a rally on Friday, it's an annual thing)
I am using a Nikon d3100 and have a 18-55 kit lens and a 18-105. My favorite photo's are panning shots, just my luck as they are hard to master :bang:
Anyways, Hello to everyone
I hope to put up some shot's from this rally on Friday, if all goes well, in the meantime if there's any tips on stance, technique for panning and even what kind of rally shots to take then I am all ears...or eyes as it's a forum

P.s. it will be a day time event, long winding corners, gravel/tarmac (WRC Style) only on a smaller scale.
