Hi all, I have joined here to learn more about getting into photography. I am a complete novice but really enjoy taking photographs and getting the occasional "gem". I am looking for advice on getting myself kitted out with a DSLR so any advice gratefully received!

Thanks! I am a membe on anpther forum (not a photography one) and I am quite aware of how they work and which members are more "helpful" than others! It will take me a while to get used to this one, but I'm sure EVERYONE knows more than me so thats a start!
 
I'm just looking to pick up advice really as I am wanting to get a dslr soon. I am a complete novice so just sponging up everything really! I've started a thread about what I'm looking for in basics bit.

Thanks for that cyclamens! Well I missed an eos 460d on eBay go for £250 today in vgc so when I've saved a bit I think I'm going for one of those!

I thought I would tell you all a bit more about me, I'm a part time primary teacher, married with a baby boy of 20 months. I ride horses and have my own called paddy. I enjoy mountain biking and catamaran sailing. So I would like to photograph these sorts of things!

I live in the peak district so lots of lovely scenery. Oh and I'm 28.

Hope I meet some like minded people on here!
